Just give it a taste test to determine when it is done to your liking. Note that you add it last and let it cook for about 15 more minutes, but the time may vary according to the type of pasta you use. Many soup recipes specify for you to cook the pasta before adding it to the soup, but this recipe is so easy that you simply add the dry noodles right into the pot to cook. Use any smaller macaroni such as elbow macaroni, shell, cavatappi, penne, farfalle, fusilli, or rotini. Add cooked pasta about 30 minutes before serving. Ground the beef and combine all ingredients into the crockpot, minus the pasta. Top with cheddar cheese, if desired, and ENJOY! Add the dry macaroni and let cook for 15 minutes.
